Consultation
Every initial appointment begins with a detailed consultation.
This gives us an opportunity to discuss your health, concerns, medical history, current treatment, lifestyle and any factors that may be relevant to your care.
The aim is to build a clear picture of your circumstances before treatment begins.
Treatment
Treatment is tailored to the individual rather than following a standard protocol.
Acupuncture may be used alongside conventional medical care and other approaches where appropriate.
The number and frequency of treatments required varies from person to person.
What to Expect
Initial appointments include both consultation and acupuncture.
Most people find acupuncture relaxing.
Some people notice changes after their first appointment, while others experience more gradual change over a number of sessions.
Recommendations may be provided where appropriate, but there is no obligation to continue with further appointments.
Prefer treatment in a short block?
The Three-Day Acupuncture Intensive brings three individual acupuncture appointments together over one weekend rather than spreading treatment over several weeks.
It may suit you if you are travelling some distance to the clinic or prefer a short, defined period of treatment.
